Made your coconut shrimp recipe and I must say that it's da bomb!!! I was a little skeptical of the sauce, but it turned out excellent and taste very good. I added a little kick to the shrimp by adding season salt instead of regular salt and pepper. Never used panko bread crumbs before and it turned out great adding that little extra crunch as opposed to regular all purpose flour. The peanut oil is a little more expensive than regular vegetable oil (well, a lot more expensive put it's great for flavor. I plan on making this coconut shrimp recipe for a Super Bowl party I'm planning to attend in a couple of weeks. Terrific recipe. Y'all done it once again!!!

This was delicious. I wasn't able to make the dipping sauce since we were snowed in and I didn't have the preserves on hand. But the shrimp tasted great, I marinated the shrimp in some "Adobo" seasoning for about an hour, and set the shrimp on a parchment lined baking sheet after I dredged it in the egg & coconut. I think this helped the batter stick better while frying. A great recipe.

This shrimp is as good as the restaurant you currently order at! Sauce is perfect, and the coconut with panko is unbelievable! So easy and yet guests will think you slaved over the stove! Always a go to recipe for our family. Followed to a "T" and comes out perfect every time!

I've made coconut shrimp before and it was tasty, but the recipe was excellent. It was the panko bread crumbs mixed with the sweetness of the coconut flakes that really sealed the deal. I gave this a try one night because I had some leftover shrimp. I halved this recipe for just my fiance and me; but we gobbled them up embarrassingly fast... I wished I had made a whole pound and a half! The dipping sauce is restaurant quality yum, but sweet Asian chili sauce can be hard to find.

I had never made Coconut Shrimp before, and since I was planning on making it Christmas Day as an appetizer, I searched for an easy recipe that seemed like it would be excellent...as I believe that complicated recipies with exotic ingredients have more of a chance not to turn out. I read the reviews, and bought the Asian Chili Sauce, as I had everything else. IT TURNED OUT GREAT & so did the dipping sauce! In some of the other coconut shrimp reviews, there were complaints that the coconut didn't stay on during cooking, and that was not the case here, plus I really like the crunchy panko bread crumbs that this recipie calls for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This coconut shrimp recipe is really, really good. I had some freinds over and made this recipe for them. It was a big hit.

I never make a dish on here without reading the reviews, I stumbled across this receipe while reading the reviews of Rachel Rays Coconut Shrimp. The review said to skip Rachel's recipe for the Neely's & I'm sooooo happy I did!!

My hubby and son loved the dish so much that he took a few shrimp next door to our neighbor!!

I added Old Bay seasoning and coconut milk to the eggwash and I a made rice with 1 cup of water & 1 cup of coconut milk and the zest of half a lime.

My hubby wants this again next week!!

This dish is simple and delicious

This is the best coconut shrimp I've ever tasted. The recipe is very simple and takes no time to prepare at all. The only thing I did different was add a little seasoning to the shrimp before I breaded but other than that fantastic! Tonight will be my 5th time making. I haven't tried the dipping sauce I just brought chili sauce from the store.

I loved this recipe. I cooked it for some of my family and friends and they could not get enough. I used a pinaple marmalade instead of orange and it was amazing.

I agree, this is better than Outback's Coconut Shrimp. The dipping sauce is amazing as well. My boyfriend and I have made this twice now and both times....PERFECTION!
