Holy smokes! This was a great breadstick recipe. I had to improvise because I don't have good kitchen tools, but it still came out great and was fairly simple.

These are to die for...I made them and that remind me of the breadstix at olive garden but i dont have to spend so much money just to enjoy them...Will definately make lots of these and freeze for later. Very good with any type of saucy pasta

By this time Laurie, I hope you have read the directions and found that you add one and 1/4 cups of warm water to your dry ingrediants after mixing the yeast with 1/4 C of water. I hope you did not throw anything away before trying these.
I always use frozen bread dough or frozen rolls dough. It works and has a fabulous taste too. IF you are in a hurry or have too many dishes to prep for a big dinner.

These breadsticks are addictive, I've made them several times now and they don't last long enough to cool off!

To the commenter stating that 1/4 cup of water isn't enough, you're right... that's why the second sentence of the recipe states that you add more warm water along with the flour and butter. It's usually a good idea to fully read through a recipe before attempting to make it, that way you don't miss things and waste ingredients.

I make these quite often for the family - they always love them. Last time I accidentally forgot to mix the butter into the dough - Makes for a tight dough but the breadsticks actually come out better - they raise more. Of course I put the extra butter on top!

These are good breadsticks that are pretty quick to make (they only rise for 45 min. But they are "supposed to be" a copy of Olive Garden - they are not even close to tasting like OG breadsticks. However, my bf loved them and ate almost the entire batch at dinner.

The only thing I needed to change was the time, I cooked the first sheet for the full 15 minutes but they were a little too crispy. I dropped the time to about 12 minutes and they were just like the ones my friend loves from OG. I made them for her birthday lunch and she ate 6!! I guess that means they turned out well!

My husband couldn't stop eating these, and I thought they were fantastic. Also really easy. The only thing I changed was the seasoning: less salt and rosemary instead of oregano. MMmmm. This one's definitely a keeper.
