Very good way to make sweet potatoes! I microwaved my potatoes for 4 minutes rather than cooking in water - less pans to clean up. Then, I cut them up and used expeller pressed coconut oil (it has no coconut flavor} and followed the rest of the recipe. They turned out great and without all the butter and sugar normally associated with sweet potatoes. They are sweet enough by themselves. Thanks, Bobby! This is on my regular rotation and sweet potatoes are sooooo good for you!

Just made these sweet potatoes this evening. Like a few others I did not par boil them first as like a bit of a snap to them vs. being totally soft. Great flavor combination. I have said for years now you can put cilantro, lime and cumin on anything and I would eat it. Not sure why I haven't thought to do this before.

The best ever. Salt? You don't need it. I've made this 2 times according to recipe. Except I don't par cook the potatoes. I brush with oil/minced garlic and grill. I use like a 1/2 tblsp of oil and juice of 1/2 a lime with zest. Flavors are amazing. I didn't have cilantro this 3rd time so used what I had in the garden....cinnamon basil and parsley. Delish!!

These are amazing. I didn't end up using all of the salt, and probably wouldn't bother with the cilantro next time because it all ended up left on the plate, but I will definitely make these again.

they were good, but I felt it was missing more seasoning, I ended up adding some chili powder. I tried this other recipe for Spicy Sweet Potato Fries recently and I enjoyed it much more, the potatoes ended up crispier on the outside as well.

Wonderful and different. I used the zest of three limes, and would reduce the salt next time. I substituted cumin for the cayenne to make it kid friendly. I also sauteed the sweet potatoes in a skillet to make it quicker and easier. Look forward to using this again. We were really tired of the same old sweet potato fries, mashed sweet potatoes, etc.

It was good but I think there was too much salt. I will try it again but definitely cut the salt back by half and not put any salt on the potatoes before grilling.
