I'm not a Thai food expert, but this tasted great! Followed the recipe and the package noodles soak time because I figured they are all different. But great flavors and a nice change to the dinner menu.

Loved this dish. It was delicious and easy to make. I added some fresh cilantro at the end and 1/2 more on the sauce with some extra water and lime juice. Perfect.

Less noodles, more sauce. That would have made it 5 stars. Also, for the love of all things Thai - add cilantro. You won't regret it.

WOW! What a wonderful dish! Simply delicious and worth the time to cook. My experience with the fish sauce was this ... horrible smell when first adding with other ingredients but once it was cooked long enough, that odor was gone and the dish tasted fantastic! I went with the lower end of the sambal and that added enough heat for me and my Bride. I would definitely recommend this dish to anyone who enjoys shrimp pad thai.

Delicious!! I changed up a few things based on what I had on hand. I used soy sauce in place of the fish sauce and only used shrimp for the protein. Also, I would recommend following the package instructions for soaking the noodles because it most likely will need more than 10 minutes to soak. I will definitely make this again!

This is the best Pad Thai EVER !!! I love it!! I didn't use the Fish Sauce I used Soy Sauce instead and also I didn't use radishes. I totally recommend it and I will make it again and again. Thank you !!!

I just made this, and I don't love all the fish sauce in it. Since it is a major ingredient in the sauce, it just comes through no matter how much more lime juice I add. For that reason, it is definitely not my favorite pad thai.

Very tasty recipe, and very easy to make. Instead of following the noodle soaking instructions in the recipe, use the instruction on the noodle package. 10 minutes soaking in warm water was not nearly enough time. The instructions on the noodle package I used said to soak in very hot water for 30 minutes. Before putting in 2 TBSP of sambal oelek, check your jalapenos for heat. In my case 1 TBSP was plenty because the peppers I bought were very hot. And also check the stink factor on the fish sauce before using it. Cut it with a little water if the odor is too strong. I highly recommend this recipe and will be making it again soon.

I suspect that the people who rated this with five stars aren't terribly familiar with pad thai. I tried this because I've been unable to find tamarind concentrate/juice, so I figured that with so many five-star ratings the tamarind might not be essential. Wrong. Way wrong. This isn't horrible, but without the sweet and sour provided by the tamarind, it's just a bunch of spicy noodles. Pre-packaged pad thai sauce would likely be better.
