    i love these fries! My daughter can eat ten plates of them. I love how easy they are and how much healthier they are then those fast food juck! I have to say, i like adding paprika to the spices. It's a nice kick.;

    My husband will divorce me if I make them again. Mushy texture and bland taste.

    This were very good fries!! The only thing I would warn people about is the spices can be a bit spicy. I don't mind spicy at all, but some people might find these a bit too spicy.
    Very good recipe and would def. make them again!

    Huh?

    The spices were great and we're thinking we'll make yucca chips using the same recipe. My kids didn't care for them (our teenager thought they were too spicy...hence the question over blandness...someone didn't use the spicesI think the actual yucca takes some getting used to. We're saving our left overs for breakfast and will see how they fry up in the morning. We adults thought they were fabulous.

    I made these with regular potatoes (live in a small town with little potato selection. Was a little too salty (probably my fault but liked the spices on the fries!

    Don't be fooled by the firmness of the root. You can over cook it. You can also slice to thick. I also adjusted the cayenne for my own taste. This makes a great appetizer.

    I never thought to make fries from Yucca! What a great idea. They are very tasty and a welcomed change from the other variety of fries.
