    I wonder if Paula relizes that the majority of the reason we all tried these was her perfect reaction on the show! Even after Damon sort of tried to stop her from over-adding butter LOL - Her expression was priceless and, as did the others, I ran right out to get the items to make these! And thankfully didn't change one thing in the recipe! Super YUM, creamy, just rich enough mmmmm - we had Salisbury Steak with them though...my pregnant craving wasn't for Pork tonight ; Thanks Paula!

    While this is a delicious dish, you MUST use a food mill or the chunky fibrous pieces will remain. I loved the flavor but the texture was terrible since I only used a potato masher. I was stuck pulling fibrous chunks out of my mouth while trying to get to the good stuff. Yuck.

    But overall, definitely try the dish! Just use a potato ricer or a food mill. Yum!

    I had never tasted or cooked celery root before but Paula looked like she really did love it so I decided to give it a try. WE LOVED them and would like to try cooking the 2 together as Eleanor suggested. My only question would be if they can both go through the food mill. If they can be done together it would make it an exceptionally good and easy dish. Thank you Damon. You converted 2 in this family and I'm guessing I will soon convert the rest.

    I have never cooked anything with celery root before - now I think it is a great vegetable! Great flavor and consistency - a very nice addition to mashed potatoes. I was dying to add other ingrediants - but refrained. I am glad I refrained - it did not need anything.

    I had never cooked with celery root before I saw Paula and Damon make this recipe. Paula's reaction to the taste made me want to make it asap. It is fantastic. The flavor is so rich and lovely with a hint of celery flavor. My husband is a diabetic and this enables him to eat mashed potatoes as the celery root cuts down on the carbs. Thanks for a great new taste!

    I had to specifically ask for celery root at my grocery store, but it was totally
    worth it! I will make this again! After I saw Paula's eyes after she tasted this, I knew I had to try it! My pork chops are still on the stove, but the mashed potatoes are great!

    I think Paula summes it up best with that statement! When I saw her and Damon make them on today's episode I knew I had to make them for dinner tonight. Creamy, luxurious, simple and delicious!
