I am probably the biggest fan of Ellie Krieger on the planet, and I cook her recipes for basically most meals of the day! My father can be difficult to please sometimes when it comes to food, and he took one bite and said it was the best thing I had made all week! I didn't change a thing; Ellie's recipes make you feel so good about yourself when you create them and eat them! If you want an unexpectedly incredible, out-of-this-world recipe and I cannot wait to make it again! What a crowd-pleaser!!!!

Really good sauce! Was super easy and quick to make. I think next time I will add some crushed red peppers before I blend it up to add some spice!

This was quick and easy. It DID seem like it was missing something but it was something my toddler gobbled up. We are vegetarians and it was something different and tasty. I added Oregano and red pepper flakes. I will definitely keep it in mind for nights when I need to get dinner on the table in a hurry.

Do taste the puree as you go, I found it to be a little bland. I added some sun-dried tomatoes, a little bit of cream cheese (YUM! and basil instead of parsley. Tossed the sauce on rotini and added some cubed chicken breast. Very good!

I made this last Easter - and it was a hit. I adjusted it a little based on the wonderful reviews. If you like mushrooms adding sauted mushrooms really adds a nice texture. I used fresh fettuccine and it was so perfect.

Made this recipe and added a little heat with some cayenne pepper and used more bell peppers. Also added chopped arugula to the final recipe for some additional greens. Nice flavor and easy to put together

I made this a couple weeks ago. My husband doesn't like bell peppers but sure did like this (I didn't tell him what it was made with. I added a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight "kick" and crumbled itialian sausage (husband has to have meat with everything. It was a hit! Making it again soon!
