The burger that I made came out very tasty. I only had frozen preformed burgers. I let them thaw and reformed them. I followed the cooking instructions and I ended up making the juiciest burgers that I have made in years. I never previously used oil when cooking a burger and I never made an depression with my thumb. I think this makes a huge difference!

I, like others, was surprised by how simple but delicious the burger was. I think all these years I had been cooking my burgers on medium heat, not high heat as recommended here. I cooked mine inside on a cast iron grill pan and I think the heat made all the difference...

I have made burgers for years and everyone always said they were good. My husband said this was the best burger he has had and it was soo simple and didn't need the fuss I normally do with seasonings, worcestershire and stuff. I will use this recipe from now on, simpler than I normally do and a great burger. Husband Happy I'm Happy. Thank you.

Absolutely delicious and totally easy to make. I used vegetable oil instead of canola oil because that's what I had and they came out perfect!

Yep. If you want to know the basics to a good burger this is it. Turns out I was making mine too small. Thanks Bobby!

I had to cook this in a fry pan and have to say that this was one of the best burgers I have made or tasted. No need for anything more than salt and pepper. Let the meat stand out, and it does. Once the burgers were done, I toasted the buns in the frying pan (after removing the excess oil, and topped the burgers with some garlic aioli, sliced tomatoes from the garden, lettuce, homemade dill pickles and sliced sharp cheddar. Hamburger bliss. I hope you try this recipe. This has become my ultimate burger recipe. Thanks, Bobby!

I am new to gas grilling and was having a hard time figuring out how to get my burgers exactly how I liked them. I tried about a half dozen fancy recipes until I got frustrated and went to see what Bobby Flay would say about grilling a burger. I followed these directions to a T and the burgers were really really good. Thanks, Bobby, for your no frills burger recipe/directions!
