    Awesome! It actually got a big thumb's up from my husband, who historically hates all things potato salad. A pound of bacon doesn't hurt. : I, too, left out the sugar.

    I tried for years to make a potato salad that was as good as my moms without success. Made this one and YES!!!! Finally!! Its fantastic!! I make it often and its loved by the whole family! Thanks Robert!! I love you show too <3

    I posted before, but I have to update and say that after a fantastic 1st run, this salad was a HUGE hit as leftovers with my teenagers and their 3 teenage friends! It was so popular that I was asked to bring the tupperware container and extra forks in the car when going to pick the kids up from a party 12 hours later! And they were sad when it was all gone.....good grief...any recipe that makes five 16 year olds beg for more is a hit in my book! I will definitely be making this again!!

    Best potato salad yet-I left out the sugar because when I tasted the dressing (before adding sugar I didn't think it needed it. But I used 1 cup of mayo to make it a bit creamier. Will def. make again.

    I made this for a "Bear" (large men pool party on the 4th of July, about 20 guys showed up. It was a hit. They loved this stuff. I doubled the recipe and it came out great. I filled a 9x13 alum. pan and none of it was left. I was asked to make it again for the labor day weekend party. Thanks for the wonderful recipe Robert....cheers mate.

    I didn't read the other reviews before I made it, but I thought it was wonderful. I didn't weigh my potatoes so probably had less than the recipe called for. We ate it as soon as it was done so haven't tried it cold. I think it is the best potato salad I have ever made. It was great finding a recipe that you could make a half and hour before dinner. Thanks Robert

    OMG!!! This is my grandmother's East Coast potato salad! TIP: Only use Hellman's Real Mayonnaise, or it will be too sweet! I also reserve 1/8 cup bacon drippings and add it to the dressing, so it's never dry! Plus, omit any sugar. For over 30 years, this is the BEST potato salad I've ever made or tried. You will love it too! Thank you Robert for an old standard.
