Independently, the pita chips are wonderful and the dip is very good, but together, the taste is wonderful. The seasoning on the pita chips is a perfect complement to the creamy dip. I will make it again and again.

This dip was served last night at a birthday soiree and the dip container went completely empty. Everyone thought the flavors went well together. It was also very easy to prepare. This is in Giada's new fabulous cookbook. I know we all have different tastes but this one should appeal to almost everyone. Try it!!

I have made this dip many times. The crunchiness of the pita is a crisp contrast to the creamy dip. Very delicious!

I love marscapone & sour cream, so I loved this dip! The pitta chips were great too & they went well together. The salt & chives add a subtle flavor.

My family is second generation Italian (Sicilian actually and I tried this at a dinner party with a little twist. I used olive salad with it. I processed it with the mascarpone and I added a little cream sheese. Everyone raved about it!!

I used alot of bacon and chives and still didn't get the flavor I thought I would. It was nothing special at all. The pita chips were OK

I expected this to be creamy but with a slight bit of crunch and flavor from the bacon and the chives. I was disappointed to find that it was really quite bland--even after adding a ton of salt and pepper and Old Bay Seasoning. It needs lemon and maybe some Worcestershire, to say the least. I still don't think I'd make it again. The chives didn't stand out nearly as much as I thought they would.

I made this dip for a friend who loves bacon. The dip was creamy but the bacon and the chives didn't impart enough flavor on their own to season the sour cream and the mascarpone. I added a tablespoon of lemon, a touch of white wine vinegar, onion and garlic powder to make it work. I would make it again but will plan on doctoring it up before serving it.

I found that it was really runny and the bacon pieces tended to settle to the bottom. I thought, this may be good as a salad dressing, too! I added some balsamic vinegar and it is wonderful! And for some reason it thickened it up, too, I don't know why.

The Pita Chips were really great, too!
