    We love egg salad but I never thought to chop the eggs in the food processor. So much easier.
    Thank you Ina! You're the best.

    Easy and delicious! I just made the egg salad without the salmon and it was great by itself.

    My husband does not like smoked salmon. I made a few with flaked roasted cooled salmon for him. I flowed the recipe for the rest. Everyone loved them.

    Really good egg salad recipe. Adjust for size of eggs; largest eggs need maybe 30 seconds to 1 minute more for hard cooked (all the way through. This works well with the most neutral smoked salmon you can find (use sliced lox, not the salmon that comes in large chunk pieces. I know one is cold-smoked, the other hot-smoked, but I can never remember which is which. Smoked salmon from Nova Scotia is wonderful, smooth, buttery lox. It's sold at Dean and Deluca's website/catalog if you can't find locally. The colder the water the salmon comes from, the better (colder water=higher oil content, which means it absorbs the smoke flavor more fully and consistently through the whole piece, I'm told.

    excellent and easy recipe! i included this lunch meal for a road trip to yosemite, and it was absolutely delicious. i'm not sure if the recipe tasted better because we were in an awe inducing natural surrounding or if it was a great recipe. we concluded it was both! ;

    good recipe, but I boiled the eggs for the specified time and they were still mushy when I cracked one. other than that, the recipe was good.

    Oh thank you, thank you, thank you Ina. I love your show and recipes. I am planning an Easter brunch this Sunday and egg salad with smoked salmon was in the mix but I couldn't find a recipe that really meshed. Just as I was stressing out you came along (with this recipe to save the day. Brilliant, just brilliant. Life is Good. I've been saved!
