I made this dish for my wife and five sons (a very picky group when it comes to eating. Everyone loved it. It also works well with chicken.

I made this tonight after seeing the dish prepared on TV this morning. My husband & I had my parents over for dinner, and everyone loved it!! My husband is very picky and had 3 helpings!! The steak & pasta complimented each other perfectly. Using filet mignon made a big difference in flavor & texture. This is a nice dish to make when having guests. I served it "family style", just like Giada did on the show, in a giant bowl. I followed the recipe almost exactly, except I didnt garnish the dish with basil b/c I ran out. If there is one thing I would chagne in the recipe, it would be to cut back a bit on the lemon. I think it made the sauce a bit too acidic. All-in-all, this is a great recipe and I would definitely make it again!

My family really enjoyed this recipe. Nice and fresh on a hot summer day. I took the leftovers for lunch the next day, and it was still really good.

I followed the directions to the letter with this recipe. I see what Giada was trying to do, but it just didn't work for me. I also found that the pasta was too dry (needed more sauce or something, and didn't reheat well after refrigeration.

I made this for dinner tonight, oh my goodness, what a fablously tasting dish...Very fresh, light and full of sunshine....the smell of the fresh basil, garlic and lemon.....Belissimo!!!! It doesn't take long to prepare. I loved the herbes de Provence on the steaks. I have never tried this particular mix of herbs before, but they are now on my list of favourtes. Everything was done to perfection!!! My family gave it 10's all around.....Thanks Giada for showing us great, fresh, quick and delicious recipes....

Full of flavor and the smoked almonds give it a great punch and crunch. Guests went back for seconds.
