I have to admit I've never had a proper southwestern slaw, but I found this recipe a big blah. I use more red cabbage than the recipe calls for, and I subbed greek yogurt for mayo (I'm sure this is where I went wrong. The dressing was OK, but I kept tweaking it with more lime juice, and a bit of sugar, a garlic clove. The end result (and again, it wasn't exactly as described was edible, but I will not be making this recipe again.

This was pretty good. I would eat it again for sure, but don't think I would make it for company. I really like Ellie's show and wish it was on more often.

I loved this recipe. I did change the cilantro to parsley, flat leaf, as my husband doesn't care for cilantro at all. It was delicious and so very healthy!

Adding the teaspoon of sugar really made this recipe a hit at our luncheon.

Nice combination of flavors & textures. Fast and easy to make in the food processor. Added just a pinch of sugar to the dressing, along with salt & pepper.

I liked it very much but found it a little tart, so I added 1 scoop of Somersweet a product like Splenda that I buy from Suzanne Somers site. You could use 1 tsp or more of Splenda or sugar to taste. It really made it better in my opinion. I also didn't have any jimca so I added shredded carrots instead. It really was delicious....

This recipe was amazing and wonderful. We ate it on a 90*F day and it helped cool us right down! I added some sliced beets and that worked very well.

It was good. Also added 1 c. carrots, 1/4 c. peanuts and a jalapeno (seeded. Next time I would add two jalapenos, one didn't even give it a kick, which is what I was looking for. Double the lime for more tang.
