i've been making fries like this for a long time but they always come out kinda soggy. I've never been able to get them crispy by baking them, and this recipe was no exception. Guaranteed good flavor though. I usually serve them with a chipotle aoili.

This recipe intrigued me so much that I wanted to make it that night! However, I was making Southwestern Grilled Chicken Sandwiches and didn't have any basil. So I made the Sweet Potato fries as is, but adapted the dip using cilantro and lime juice in addition to the garlic! What a hit! Thanks for the inspiration, Giada! (PS, I used lowfat Hellman's and it was great!

The fries were great except I must have put too much olive oil because the skins were burned.

For such a super simple dip I was blown away at how yummy this side was! The mayo for dipping was perfect for the sweet potato fries, but also excellent on my grilled salmon the next day. Thanks I love this show!!!

For some reason the sweet potato fries were soggy and not crunchy - still delicious though. I must have done something wrong but I can't imagine what since all you do is bake them. Any ideas???
