Salmon cakes didn't hold together, think more moisture is needed. Cakes also needed more flavor, lemon juice?? Salt??
The sesame ginger sauce needed more soy, was fairly bland.
Usually like Ellie's recipes but would not make this one again.

I was really skeptical about the canned salmon but these were awesome! I didn't make the sauce since there didn't seem to be as much positive criticism for it. It went great with "Elise's Sesame Noodles" (and eatingwell.com recipe. Super cheap ingredients too!!! YUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMM

I used a can of smoked halibut and paired it with the smarter tartar sauce...it was delicious. I want to try this again with salmon.

These are sooo much better than any salmon cakes I have ever tried! This was easy, inexpensive, and delish! My very persnickity 3 year old and 22 month old even loved them. Thanks!

These are so easy and so delicious. And the best part, you can make them, freeze them, and fry them up later. A great time saver because you can make extra to have later.

I especially love the sauce. Yummy.

I've been on a weight loss "program" and am transitioning to maintenance. The one thing I've missed is the "crunch" in texture. These Salmon Cakes provided that PLUS lots of flavor and easy prep. My husband enjoyed it as much as I did.

Very good--a nice change from the typical salmon patty.

The recipe was very easy to make. Just needed a little more favor. Cakes were dry and crumbled easily.
