I love watermelon, so at first I didn't want to mess with Mother Nature....but I like ginger and sea salt.....This is a great combination and really brings up the flavor of watermelon.....Drink the dressing from the bottom of the bowl! Thank you Paula!

My daughter and I made this tonight but tweaked the recipe a bit as follows: rather than pineapple juice we used mandarin orange juice and we ommitted the salt. We added the zest from a lime to the mixture as well. We used fresh pineapple and watermelon then drizzled the mixture over the top. It smelled soooo good - and tasted just as fantastic! Thank you for a great recipe!

I really enjoyed this recipe. The combination of the salty and sweet taste made this a winner.

Thought it was great. The combination of sweet and salty is fabulous. Served this at a dinner party and everyone loved it.

First Paula recipe I don't care for. The watermelon tastes fresher just as it is without all this stuff in it. Ginger was a little overpowering.
Glad I used only 1/2 of the melon (which was the recommended 5 lb
