I made this for my boyfriend on his birthday. I was a great hit, and tasted wonderful. I love Tyler's recipes. Tyler Rocks!

Even my five year old loved this, and he is VERY picky! It was delicious. The best steak I have ever had.

How many times a week can I get away with making this?!!! Yum!!!!
I used ribeyes and doubled the cheese in the potatoes. This is the easiest jaw-dropping meal I've ever made!! Wondering if the person who didn't care for this possibly didn't salt the potatoes enough.??

Used oyster mushrooms - was making enough for one, so I only used 8 oz. of mushrooms - this made a real good serving for one, so would have to triple the sauce for four.

I liked the mushrooms (used cremini they had a nice flavor but the sauce was non-existant by the time it was poured on the steak. Cut the recipe in half but next time would do the entire sauce. I was disappointed in the meal over all, along with the gratin.

My huband & I made this last night along with the potato gratin. We were oh-ing & ah-ing through the whole meal. It was "The Ultimate"!!!!

As the rest of this entire bistro menu, it is a burst of flavor and one of the best recipes I have ever pulled off the channel. I always pick at least one meal on the weekend and try it. This was by far the best of the best.

The only issue we had was the selection of mushrooms in the area where we live. We made due with what we had.
