I've made these a few times, just made them again to go with my ham for Easter dinner and they were a hit!!. I also make a lot of Italian pasta dishes and from now on I'm making these to go with. Not only are they good, but they are so easy.

This recipe sounded and looked good, but unlike the other reviewers, I thought this was a bad dish. A waste of good pancetta!

This one is a winner! I did make it with bacon instead of pancetta since that is what I had, but I'm sure either way it would be delicious.

What a great idea as an alternative way to serve peas. The mix of flavors and textures is great and its so easy to make.

This turned out great. It was quick and easy, but has an elegant presentation. I added some different colored chopped peppers for color. This is definitely a recipe that will have me and my family eating peas more often.

this is a great dish and is great for dinner parties or holiday dinners. don't be shy about keeping all the pancetta grease in the pan while cooking the peas and shallots!
