Yeah, I know the roasted chickens you buy at the grocery store are inexpensive and quick. But this is the best! The aroma throughout the house and the mouth watering meal is delicious. Always a winner when I make it.

We had this chicken last night for dinner. Just fabulous all the way around. I enjoyed watching the Neely's prepare this and thought I could do this. It was a winner for the menu book. I didn't have lemons available so had to go with real lemon juice in the bottle (a dash or two in the cavity of the chix and yes it did run thru but the flavor was enhanced and its all good! My hubby was happy glad! This will definitely be part of many dinners in the future. Well Done to Gina & Pat! Thank you for sharing !

Everyone I am so excited, I made this chicken along with the twice smashed baked patatoes for dinner this evening & OMG.... there wasn't a sound out of my kids mouths, no complaints, no fussing about the broccolli in the patatoes, this was a perfect evening. HOORAY, I finally got a hold of something that my kids LOVE. Oh yeah & this dinner knocked my man's socks off.

My hubby is not a big fan of chicken but he LOVED this recipe! I like variety and rarely cook the same thing twice in less than 6 months but we enjoyed this chicken so much that I made it twice in the last 2 weeks. Thank you Gina!

I have made this several times and it's always come out wonderful. it is hard to make chicken come out so good!. this is pretty easy to make and I highly recommend it. Best Chicken I have had.

this is the best roast chicken i have ever made! i was weary about the high heat, but it turned out perfectly browned and soooo moist! the house smelled incredible while it was cooking! i was also weary about the gravy because it called for wine and i HATE wine. but i tried it and i couldn't taste the wine at all, it was absolutely fabulous! will make again and again!

Great recipe ..... This is my kind of recipe,easy to prepare and little preparation. The chicken was the bomb very moist and favorful. I was a little sketical about the gravy as I read the reviews but after trying it I was amazed how well it turn out.. I will recommended this one to a friend.

My husband and I loved this chicken. He said it was the best Roasted Chicken he ever had. I was so pleased with the turnout of the chicken and those twice smashed potatoes that I just had to bring some in to a couple of friends of mine for lunch the next day. Keep putting out the great dishes. I love you guys!!!
