I made this dinner for my family the other night and was disappointed. I saw the 5 star rating and thought I would give it a try. It was missing something major. I was extremely diappointed.

I invited my mom to come over and have dinner, and when I told her we were having pork chops, rice and green beans, she didn't sound all too enthused. However, once she saw the presentation, she was very impressed! Everything was so good! The rice was excellent, and the green beans (I used smoked almonds instead were even better, and I'm not usually a big green bean fan.

The pork chops with the sauce were so good and such a nice change from the plain old chops we normally have. Try this one!

I can't believe how great this whole menu was, from the pork chop chop to the manchego rice. Although it took me about 40 minutes to cook with chopping everything up, my whole family loved it. The only difficult part was finding the manchego cheese, our stores in south Orange County do not carry it. Luckily I found it at Whole Foods grocery store. It was well worth driving around for.
I also added some cajun seasoning to the paprika which really gave the chops a kick, and my sauce was a little thick so I added some chicken broth.
My son, daughter, and my husband are going to have a cooking contest between them, and I'm the judge. It's going to be tough to beat these recipes. Oh by the way the beans were great to, but since I'm greek we cook them like that all time.
    Thanks for the great recipes.

I will always cook my chops like this for now on - the sauce was stupendous and oh so simple.

First recipe that I tried from the show - was surprised that it actually took 27 minutes!!!! And the taste - hard to describe adequately - you MUST try this...

This was wonderful as is all Rachel's recipes. My husband went nuts over this meal. The rice was amazing, and I am not a huge rice fan.
