This recipe is really easy to make and taste's great...My 6 year old son absolutely loved it and wanted to have it for dinner the next night also....The one thing i will change next time is the salt ingredients it calls for makes it taste salty...u definatly dont have to add salt to it...I also added some green peppers...Over all i will definatly be making this dish again...family favorite

This was terrific! It was easy to make, already had all the ingredients in the cupboard and my finiky husband went back for seconds! I did pull out some string cheese and chop one up for each kid to entice them, they ate every morsel. will definitely repeat this on cold gloomy days. thanks to paula and bobby, and the food network. :>

I made this dish tonight and loved it! I read reviews & adjusted the recipe. We love spice, so I used 1# Hot & 1# Mild Italian Sausage & 1/2# Ground beef. Instead of water, I used 1 cup red wine, & 2 cups low sodium beef broth. I used Muri Glen brand for the tomato sauce & 1-29oz can Fire Roasted Whole Tomatos & chopped them. Whole is better quality than diced. Used 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning & no bay leaves, 3 Tablespoons Worcesterhsire, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 Teaspoon pepper & garlic powder & used penne pasta...more elegant looking. Next time, I am not going to cook the noodles...did for 8 min & rather soft. I prefer a firm noodle so I'm going to add them during the 30 minute sitting. My husband came in the door and said, "MMMMMM that sure smells fantastic! I served it with a dollop of sour cream. Will for sure make this again and again. Thanks Paula!

Read the recipe people because someone here said 1 Cup of salt was too much, but it doesn't say to add 1 Cup of salt. That's the recipe for the House Seasoning and your only adding a Tablespoon. Either way I would omit some of the salt, it was a salty dish, which many people complained about, but I wanted to see if it was salty on my scale. Omit some of the salt and add some red pepper flakes, it's great and makes A LOT.

Enjoyed this recipe and will be making it again. Its very easy to make and cleanup is a breeze...very nice on days with a lot to do around the house! The only thing I did different was I added some red chili flakes just for a little heat.

Love this recipe once I tweaked it a bit. I do not put in the seasoned salt since it would be way too salty for my family and cut back a little on the soy sauce. I only use 1 pound of ground beef and there's still plenty of beef in it for my family's liking. Also, I don't add 2 onions, I use about 1 tablespoon of dried onions.

I follwed this recipe but cut all the seasonings back alot and added a little chilie powder.. it just way too much salt for my family... my advice always read 2 or 3 recipes and pick and choose what you like from them and mix it together it makes it your own and it's always worked for me

this is by far the nastiest goulash i had ever had...way too much seasonings...couldnt even finish a bowl...followed the recipe to a tee too...my own homemade recipe is way better than this...the only reason i tried this recipe is because i liked the idea of putting the water and macaroni in, while cooking in the one pot....won't be making this again

This was such a hearty dish. My whole family went back for seconds! I even liked it with the sour cream on the side, which I didn't think I would. I will make this for years to come!
