Tried this today (Father's Day awesome!
Need I say more?! Took a little more time to prepare, but was well worth it. I got worried at first with the amount of liquid produced by the vegetables and chicken, but it did cook off well. Then after adding the lime juice and tequila, I thought "more juice, will this cook off also?", but this too cooked off. Then when I put them in the oil and I got really nervous because the ends looked burned. They were not, and the taquito's turned out delicious. My wife and I had them for lunch and then reheated them in a 350 degree oven for 30 min. for dinner. The sauces were to die for also. We will definitely be making these again!!!! Thanks Guy, I look forward to trying more of your recipes.

I am Mexican so I know the taste of authentic delicious tacos. These tacos are awesome! I just wish Guy didn't use so much alcohol.

These were the best taquitos...oh my goodness. Thanks so much Guy for the great recipe. I thought my taquitos were good, but they were nothing compared to yours. Took me a bit more time and ingredients, but it was so very much worth it.

Never really cared for the store-bought taquito; these have more flavor and are authentic. If you are having trouble with the tortillas tearing/cracking, try dividing into stacks of 12 and microwaving for 2 min. per his instructions. Another method is to run them through hot oil till they are pliable, drain, on paper towels, and then proceed. Working with the tortillas takes a little practice.

My husband loves "store bought, frozen" taquitos (I hate them, so I figured I'd try Guy's recipe. We both LOVED it! What a fantastic recipe! Thanks Guy!
