I remember Green Goddess dressing when I was a kid, so had to try this! It made a very lovely and different dressing. Tip: DEFINITELY make the dressing ahead of time, as it's quite loose and liquidy at first. Refrigerate it overnight and it sets up and gets thicker. Don't be afraid of the 2 t. of anchovy paste - it makes the dressing delicious! Kind of reminds me of a caesar dressing...but green. :

I have loved Green Goddess since I was a kid. Unfortunately, you don't find it in restaurants anymore - too bad - so much more interesting than ranch. Having said that, as good as this recipe is, it isn't really Green Goddess which does not have basil (I checked Joy of Cooking and New York Times. The basil really takes over which is ok if you're a basil fan. If you're not try Italian flat leaf parsely instead.

I love this recipe! I have used it not only as a dressing but also as a dip for veggie chips! The color is also very pretty!

I was on the schedule page looking for a recipe from another show and this caught my eye. I love basil & garlic, and always looking for new, yummy, homemade dressings! This looked great, and looked even better once I read the reviews! Can't wait to have all the ingredients to try this!!!

Thank you SOOOO much for the recipe!! I can hardly find the dressing in the stores anymore!! This simple salad would be nice with some whole wheat crackers on the side for lunch or a nice dinner salad with a Chicken Sammie!!
(((HUGS I LOVE your shows!!

I forgot to add the garlic and didn't add the anchovies but it was still delicious and I've been eating it all week! My friends liked it and asked for the recipe.
