OMG... BEST DRESSING EVER...! I didn't have anchovies so I threw in some huge green olives with some of the juice, and also added some parsley. SO GOOD... Thanks Ina for the recipe.

As a kid, I loved the bottled Green Goddess dressing, but hadn't seen it in the stores for years. One day, while watching an episode of "The Barefoot Contessa," Ina Garten made this dressing. I absolutely had to make it that night. As with all of Ina's recipes, this one is a real crowd pleaser ... and many times better than the bottled stuff! Every time I serve this dressing at a party, my friends and family rave about it. In fact, they love it so much there's never any left after the party.

It was amazing! A little thick but you can add milk to thin it out.. But it was so good..

Ridiculously GOOD, I add an extra clove of garlic or too - my family loves garlic. Delicious and fresh tasting!!

THIS TASTES ''AMAZING''.....EVEN HAVING TO MAKE UP MY OWN SOUR-CREAM AS I RAN OUT WAS WELL WORTH THE ADDED EFFORT. FOR MY TASTE I ADDED AN EXTRA CLOVE OF GARLIC AND A FULL TEASPOON OF FRESH GROUND BLACK PEPPER AND A HANDFUL OF FLAT LEAF PARSLEY FOR ADDED FRESHNESS. EXCEPTIONAL AND A DEFINITE KEEPER! I AM SURE HAD I FOLLOWED THE RECIPE TO THE LETTER IT WOULD HAVE BEEN WONDERFUL, BUT BEING ME I NEVER FOLLOW A RECIPE.......I USE RECIPES FOR INSPIRATION TO EXPERIMENTATION....YUM YUM

This dressing was wonderful..I dislike making dressing but I can't find bottled green goddess anymore and this recipe is way better than any you can find.
It has just the right amount of creaminess and flavor without being to salty or heavy and the color is beautiful. I made the salad and used small heirloom tomatoes..fantastic!

To Die For. It is very hard not to put on everything. It's addictive.

One of our gourmet group friends made this last night as a part of our "Tribute to the 1970's" dinner. It was fabulous! So fresh and vibrant. Thought it would also make a great dip for poached or grilled shrimp.
