Delicious! I followed the recipe exactly and was very happy with the result. It tastes so good warmed up with a little whipped cream or ice cream!

This was terrific! The only change I made was to cook it for about 50 minutes as my oven runs a bit cool. I think the key is use Brioche or day old french bread like you would in a bread pudding. I made it as a dessert topped with whipped cream. Yum!

Best breakfast recipe of all time!!! Quick and easy is an understatement. (If you having problems with the recipe please make sure that your draining the juice from the berries before adding them to the dish.

I used plain cream cheese instead of ricotta and added cinnamon, nutmeg and maple syrup. It tasted alright but not a keeper in my recipe book because it is indeed mushy and doesn't look very appetizing once it's served.

Wish I'd read the reviews before making this recipe... like others, I found this dish to be somewhat mushy, even after increasing the baking time by almost 20 min. Fruit was a nice addition, but still could use more flavor. Next time, I will try adding some vanilla, cinnamon, etc. I didn't find the orange juice to add much, so won't bother with that again. I sweetened it up by sprinkling powdered sugar on top for dessert. Used leftovers this a.m. for breakfast with a little maple syrup, which helped. This is not one of Giada's better recipes.

This recipe was awsome! A scoop of vanilla ice cream put it over the top. It is a little mushy, but it's sort of a bread pudding, so it's supposed to be like that. I used sour dough and it was crispy over the top, but soft and fruity inside. It is rich, but tasty. Easy brunch or dessert. Thanks Giada

I followed the recipe exactly and everybody raved over it. A new Christmas brunch staple. I was nervous about the reviews claiming it was "a soggy mess", but mine turned out fabulously. Maybe the other users didn't drain the berries? I used sourdough bread, and refrigerated the strata overnight.
