Here's a really easy dish to make that not only tastes great, but also looks good when you take it out of the oven.
I adjusted the cooking time to compensate for my oven and didn't have any of the mushy mesh some people complained about.
Definitely something to serve after dinner when you've got company.

This recipe was SUPER easy and just amazingly yummy!
I didn't add sugar to it, just the honey and it was still sweet and delicious.
I served this for dessert to my step-dad, mom and kids and they all RAVED about it.
I had the leftovers warmed up with a splash of cream the next morning and I honestly think it was even better! Thanks Giada for making "realistic" recipes and dishes that make everyone a star in the kitchen! : YOU ROCK!

The flavor was good, but it was a mushy mess. I even halved the liquid and added 10 minutes to the baking time. Texture threw me off - don't think I would make this again.

I used just the blueberries and followed the baking recipe exactly. I mixed powdered sugar with cinnamon and sprinkled it on top before serving. It was soooo good! It's soggier than I would like, but could be easily fixed next time. The strata wasn't too sweet or tart with just the blueberries. It was a hit with my family. Definitely making again.

I prepared this recipe as a "back-up" dessert for my husband's birthday party, for whoever don't eat chocolate. Everybody loved it! I was finished way before the chocolate cake! Fresh, right amount of sweetness, so good!

I made this a night ahead and put it in the fridge. I got up in the morning, heated the oven and baked it for breakfast. It was a big hit for the whole family, including my fairly picky 8 year old son.
I followed another reviewers suggestion and used 1/3 cup sugar. Also, I added a pinch of cinnamon. I used a combination of blueberries and strawberries. It was delicious, and we will definitely have this again. Even with the extra sugar it was not very sweet - so perfect for breakfast. If I was going to make it for dessert, I would add even more sugar and serve it with whipped cream or ice cream.

This was very good and easy to make. I did change a few things, I added a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg for flavor, used those 100 calorie whole wheat sandwich thins, and used a 12oz bag of fruit. I found this plenty sweet but not too sweet with the recommended sugar. This is a great easy recipe, I am sure I will make it again.

i added even more and different berries - blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. unlike most desserts you can be off a bit on the measurements of the ingredients, or get creative and it still turns our great.
