After adding an additional clove and a pinch of red pepper flakes, the husband and I still thought there was something missing from this recipe. Dissapointed after the 5 star ratings here

Delicious! This will be a keeper in our family. You have to add plenty of garlic and cheese and it has plenty of flavor. The spinach, tomatoes and cheese really liven it up. Easy quick and flavorful.

This dish is so delicious and light. The only thing different that I did was put the cheese on each person's plate. When I tried this before, I put the cheese in the pot and it just clumped together and did not really cover all the noodles. By putting it on each person's individual dish, it melts the way it is suppose to

This recipe is a staple in my kitchen. I make it often for others and they always ask for it again! I prefer to use it as a base to which I add other veggies, veggie meatballs (or the real thing for you non-veggies, tofu parmigana, etc. Don't be afraid to tinker with it. It's a great recipe to have on hand!

made this a couple nights ago and it was a huge success. Have a couple very picky eaters, but it was the perfect meal to let them help with, so they liked it much better since they assisted with the process. If you like a ton of flavor, probably not the dish for you, but we really enjoyed it, and it wasn't too strong for the kids. Also a very pretty dish, while simple to make. I forgot to save the pasta water, but even so it was really good. Everything else we followed to a 'T' and it was delicious! Thanks Giada!

We all enjoyed this very much and will make again. My fourteen year old son said next time he would prefer broccoli to tomatoes. Update: We made this again with steamed broccoli instead of tomatoes. The combination of spinach and broccoli is reminiscent of artichoke hearts.

I add red onion when I do the garlic, then add in some white wine and lemon juice when I put in the spinach. Adds a nice flavor!
