I added diced jalapeño peppers to the batter, and brushed with the egg mixture endured with Tabasco green pepper sauce. Added a little more salt to the batter. The remaining dough, I rolled out and made into bite sized crackers that is sprinkled with addition shredded cheddar and the Tabasco green pepper sauce.

This recipe can be made faster subsituting Puff Pastry & pre~cooked Sausage.Try. May be lower in sodium...

i made these for a party a few months back, and everyone thought they were store bought! i'm making them again tomorrow for another party, and everyone says they can't wait to have it. the only thing is, is that mine were just a tad salty. it really depends on the type of hot dog you get too. it sure beats the overpriced mini hot dog rolls in the grocery store!

I love this recipe. It is quick, easy, & tasty. I freeze these & eat them as a quick snack when i don't have time to cook . They get a little dry, but overall a great snack.

These are easy to make and so much better tasting than the kind just rolled in bought roll dough. Worth the little bit extra work and guests really loved them. Everyone asked why they were better this time!
