I was surprised that many were adding more sweetness to this recipe. I always keep over ripe bananas in my freezer and that was plenty of sweetness for this smoothie. I used Greek-style yogurt which has a better taste and texture than regular yogurt. For all you WW members this would be 6 points. It seems like a lot, but I use it for my breakfast or lunch meal, not a snack.

I'm not a big fan of PB or bananas, but I can tolerate them, and had a lot laying around, so I used this recipe as a simple way to get ride of it all.

I attempted to make this recipe without a blender in my college dorm, but discovered it was a little too thick to drink >=P.

I ended up making a few adjustments, popped it in the freezer, and made ice cream out of it. I liked it a lot better in ice cream form =].

    Ah...dorm room resourcefulness!

I tried this recipe and I thought it was a bit "heavy" so I tried several alterations.

1 I tried peanut butter with half a banana and some soymilk
2 I Next, I used Nasoya silken creations ( the chocolate kind with some peanut butter and banana and this was my favorite.

This smoothie is high in calories but you can play around with alternatives to create one lower in calories.

I'm not a big fan of bananas but I love peanut butter, so I gave this smoothie a try. I added a little bit of honey for a little extra sweetness. My kids loved it. Me, not so much. Next time, I think I'll try using chocolate soymilk like someone else suggested.

This smootie is so good! However, I added a 1/2 a tablespoon of natural honey to add a little more sweetness to it and it made it just perfect.

MMMM...lovely. I did some changes, I used chocolate soymilk and did not freeze the banana and added an ice cube. It comes close to tasting like a Reese's Pieces smoothie.

It's really good, but I use vanilla yogurt and add a little honey which makes it perfect...

Athough this is good, Ellie says it's great for a snack. At over 300 calories, that is more like a meal. I would drink this for breafast and not as a snack. I think her meals are healthy but high in calories. We're all looking to cut back on calories!

I have a big sweet tooth and this smoothie was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. I used it as a meal replacement and I was left full and didn't crave anything once I was finished. On top of that, it was super easy to make!

The smoothie is not too sweet, not too salty. It is a delicious all-natural smoothie. I used all organic ingredients since there are so few ingredients in the recipe. For those who are considering making this smoothie, this is not a super sweet milkshake. It has a mild flavor, but is very refreshing.
