I made this for my vegetarian daughters and it was a hit! It tasted like the real thing, didn't even miss the meat!

Very good comfort food, but not exactly a fast fix meal. I also found the dried mushrooms to be a bit on the expensive side.

This dish is a great way to disguise veggies, my kids just thought it was a great pasta and marinara... the cheese made it even better!

You know, it looked so good on TV but not a hit at our house. My husband who usually eats anything I make said this was bland, even after I tried to modify by adding tomato and extra spices. I would make it again but would leave out the porcini mushrooms and add canned mushrooms which are a lot milder. I love mushrooms but it was also too much for me.

I have been wanting to make this for a few weeks since I saw Giada make it, and am so glad that I finally tried it. I am a vegetarian but am sure that this would satisfy meat eaters, too. Giada's recipes never dissapoint.

This recipe is so healthy and it tastes like a million bucks. I watched Giada make this and thought I can do that. I did and my kids love to help. Thank you Giada.

I couldn't find marscapone cheese or the porcini mushrooms. Instead I whipped Light Cream Cheese with a little milk and I used dried Shiitake mushrooms. The flavor was great! Just a tip, saute the veggies for longer than it says to really soften them up, at least 15 minutes.
