This was good except the crust was too thick for our tastes. Other than making that minor little tweak to the recipe it's a nice refreshing change for dessert.

Like the other reviews, the recipe is wrong. I used the lime jello and got green lemon squares! I will try this recipe again but will use lemon jello. UPDATE RECIPE Sandra Lee!!! Also, I will chill this prior to cutting. I think I tried too soon to cut and my pieces were very jaggered. Taste was good though, husband liked it.

I followed the recipe exactly and they look nothing like what was done on TV. Rather disappointing considering all the hard work put into them. Taste is okay...nothing to rave about. I won't make these again.

I followed the recipe on the website. The crust was very hard and the cheesecake part was rubbery- the two combined tasted nasty. I would not make this again.

This is super easy to make and is really good! I used the indoor method of cooking and substituted butter recipe cake mix for the lemon cake mix, and it turned out great. I will defiitely make this again and given the endless combination of cake and jell-o flavors that you can use I will have fun experimenting with this recipe:

It's backwards and won't work. Don't make this until they post an edited recipe.

I also made this with Yellow Betty Crocker cake mix and lemon Jell-o rather than how it's written here, and it's delicious. I didn't do the foil in the pan the way she showed on TV since it looked too hard to spread the bottom layer that way. My bottom layer turned out a little soggier than I expected, so maybe next time I'll try the foil so I can pull it all out of the pan to cool. Still tastes great, though!
