This was so simple and so good! It doesn't need any condiments which is something I usually would have loaded on my burger.

This is the first of the burgers from the Burger Challenge that I have made, but now I think I will try them all. This burger was probably the best I've ever had. Different, yet still a burger. I followed the recipe pretty closely. I was skeptical that the parmesan side of the bun could be grilled, but it worked! I used a microplane to make the parmesan light and fluffy and more likely to stick to the olive-oiled bun. I served this for friends and we were all SO impressed; even the kids liked it! I am totally inspired for gourmet burgers all summer long.
