You use the term 3 ounces of sugar, is that equal to 2 Tablespoons make one ounce? I found the sauce to be very sweet. When I made the Spencer's Sloppy Joes and used the one cup of BBQ sauce the recipe was a little sweet. So my question is does one ounce equal 2 Tablespoons?

My husband and I were riding our bike through Memphis and stopped at your restaurant wanting to try the BBQ Spaghetti. Unfortunately, we were late and you were getting ready to close, so no spaghetti. We did have some of the BBQ you had left and it was delish. When I found this I had to make it and my husband and I agree it was worth the wait. Will make it again and next time we will get to your restaurant early enouth to taste the "real" thing. Love you show.

This was awful. I started making this according to the recipe but when I was about to add the sauce to the spaghetti, I noticed that there was a TON of sauce vs. spaghetti. This recipe makes a spaghetti with far too much sauce and since it's BBQ, it's a very strong sauce. We couldn't make it through a plate of this before we had to try something else.

I tried this recipe on my family and it was fantastic. However, instead of using pork I used grilled chicken thighs - my husband doesn't eat pork. I know that this will become a part of our "Family Meals" menu.

I have reviewed various recipes from this show. I have noticed that on difference recipes the BBQ Sauce measurements are in ounces. Then another recipe the BBQ stands for Tablespoons and then another BBQ sauce stands for Teaspoons. Mr. and Mrs. Neely please double check your website recipes and let the public know the correct measurements for your BBQ sauce and rub.

Made this on Sunday and it was awesome. Made this version as the newer one had not been posted, will definately stick with this one. The only changes made were the addition of garlic powder and omission of corn syrup per the other recipe. This was fabulous and everyone I shared it with LOVED it. Roasted bone in chicken breast, removed skin and simmered with sauce. Cant' wait to make again this weekend!!! I know what I will be taking to my next potluck, want to guess?
