I was ready to have more for dinner the following day. We replaced smuckers guava jelly for Goya.

My husband really wanted me to try this recipe after watching the show the other day. I couldn't find guava jelly, but found guava "fruit spread", and used that. I think that was my biggest problem... the glaze didn't seem to "candy" the way I was expecting. My next problem was that the fresh rosemary I bought was a dud... barely any flavor or scent. Not sure if I'll make this specific glaze again. My daughter loved it, hubby thought it was okay, and I thought it was just okay.

I have tried this recipe but I have used Apricot and Pineapple instead of Guava. The supermarket that I went to does not have this so I used Apricot and Pineapple instead. It also works and my brother likes it. It very easy to make...

I have never had guava or guava jelly before so I was really unsure about the outcome of this recipe but decided to try it nonetheless. I am very glad I did because the taste of the chicken was REALLY good! I will make this again. My only difficulty was the broiler part...YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR EYE ON IT...1 minute goes fast and longer then one minute starts to burn the sugar in the jelly! Luckily only the drippings on the foil burned a little, haha! My chicken came out perfect, moist, tender and delicious! Thanks Sandra Lee! :

This chicken breast is the first one I've ever cooked that was not dry and boring. I dislike guava so I subbed fig jam but left all the rest the same. Everyone in my house really loved this one!

I changed it slightly, I used mango jelly instead of guava (I don't care for guava but I thought this was a great dish. One word of caution, make sure you make the sauce right before you're going to use it, I tried to make the sauce before cooking the chicken like Saundra did and it jelled up on me and I had to redo it. I know some of the other reviewers didn't like the fact that this wasn't actually grilled but I think that would be a far better way to cook the chicken instead of coating in flour and frying, to cut a lot of the fat out, just grill it instead and then coat with sauce and bake- that's what I intend to do next time.
