This recipe was so fun to serve while I was having friends over one evening. I substituted the turkey sausage for prosciutto de gapa, a fine Italian ham, and it still tasted wonderful.
I really recommend this recipe!

I made these on night for dinner for my husband and I and they were wonderfull. I made double the recipe and when my husband saw me making them he could not help but join in. He even put his own spin on it with the second batch instead of make small pockets he made two big pockets. A+. I am not a great cook but these were easy and fun and I will definitely add them to my recipe book and make them again.
thanks

these were ok but not the best i have ever had. i just have one question is the marinara sauce just for dipping or does it go in the pockets also?

My picky children were begging for seconds with this yummy dinner. It was super easy to make and fun to make with my kids. My parmesan cheese that was sprinkled on top burned while my dough was a golden brown. But that didn't affect the taste, just the appearance. This one is a keeper and I will make it again!! Great recipe, Giada!

I found these to be a little too salty. I would leave out the additional salt in the filling and the parmesean on top. I would also probably only use 2 oz of cream cheese instead of 4 and 2-3 c. arugula instead of 1 (it really wilts down to nothing.
