    Ok, there seem to be a lot of rants over Bobby's recipe not being posted, and not very many actual reviews of tihs recipe. I was excited to make this recipe. I always feel bad when Bobby wins a throwdown, because the people chosen for the throwdown are clearly very talented at what they do. I wanted to make a traditional German Chocolate cake for my father in law's 20,000 day birthday. (It's a funny thing we do in our family...have obscure celebrations, like 10,000 and 20,000 day birthdays. I cook a lot, but this is the absolute first thing I have ever baked completely from scratch. It is declicious!!! I am so proud of myself! The recipe is excellent. If I can follow it, anyone can. It is time consuming, and required nearly every bowl and spoon I own! But I suppose that's just a part of baking. I made this as cupcakes so I wouldn't have to wait until I cut into it at the party to taste it! Messy cupcakes...but taste great! Exactly what I was hoping for!

    This cake was good, but I am looking for that twist. I would like to try Bobby's darker cake, 3 milk filling and ganache frosting. Bobby, why have you stopped sharing your recipies with us? I think that if a challenger beats you then both recipies should appear in the episode. Thanks Bobby!

    I could not sleep last night thinking about your German's Chocolate cake. Please find it in your heart to share the recipe. Apparently I am not the only person who really would love to try this one out. Congratulations on the win. I knew all along that you would take this one easily!

    I too am a German Chocolate cake lover and my Mom still makes it for me every year for my birthday, quite similair to the tradiional recipe shown by Bobby's competitor.
    However, I was quite excited to try Bobby's recipe as many others are and can't find it. Please post to website as soon as possible, it looked delicious!!!!
    I would have written the ingriedeints down as I was watching but assumed I would find it posted here.
    Please help!

    Why oh why are you people complaining so much for Bobby's recipe? Bobby this and Bobby that! This cake has obviously stood out to get the attention of food network, and to be the benchmmark of the "Make My Cake" buisness. I am very thankfull that she allowed her recipe to be posted at all. Bobby's cake did look good, but it wavered from the traditional recipe. Plus in presentation, Aliyyah's cake won in my eyes. I will be making this cake this weekend and i know it will be delicious.

    After watching the "Throwdown" I have to say my mouth is watering for Bobby's German Chocolate cake. No offense to the winner, but I love the dark chocolate and coffee with chocolate genache used in his version of this cake.
    My memory isn't that great so please please post his recipe!!! I'm dieing to make it!!!! thank you. :

    Loved the episode bobby even made a comment of when you make this at home, then I went to get recipe been searching for a dessert recipe for fathers day party was so excited when I saw his cake only to be very disssapointed that you did not post please post ASAP thanks

    Yesterday when I saw the program i wasThrilled with the idea of Bobby's cake and I come today to search the recipe.
    Please put the recipe I need it am very sad I adore to see foot network but especially because I do not have to worry about the recipe
