I love Paula's recipes, but this one missed the mark for me. The marinade had a great taste--but it roasted to be so dry! I think it needed more liquid. If I try it again, I may try the beer on the bottom roasting pan, and also cook it at a lower temperature

Typically the only pork I like is ham and bacon. And...I will eat some sausage. Forget the rest. But I decided to try this - and it was out of this world. Easy - so easy. Sliced very thin and served with favorite BBQ sauce.
Lots left - so plan to slow cook with BBQ sauce and pull apart for sandwiches.
Yum yum - from a person not crazy about pork. Will make again - and again.

I made this for company last night and everyone loved it! The only alteration I made was to add about a cup of beer to the roasting pan as it had very little liquid in the pan. It really made a delicious gravy. I did not serve the roast with additional Barbeque saucse as I don't think it needed it. Yum!

The flavors in the marinade penetrated the meat really well and it did NOT need BBQ sauce. What a great combination of ingredients, my husband loved it! I will definitely make this again.

I started this with a 3 1/2 pound pork loin roast. Following Paula's recipe for the marinade, I let the roast marinade for 24 hours in my refrigerator. I then drained it and roasted it at 300 degrees for two hours to an internal temperatuare of 170 degrees.. I took half of the roast, sliced it and drizzled bbq sauce over the slices and serve it for dinner.
After dinner, I sliced the other half of the roast into 1/4" to 1/2" slices and put them in an oven proof pan. I then poured an entire bottle of bbq sauce over the slices, covered the pan with a lid, and put the pork back in the 300 degree oven for another hour and a half. After this time, I took the roast slices out of the oven and shredded them with two forks. The best BBQ Pulled pork ever!
In these hard economic times, I am so happy to get two meals out of one meat purchase and they were both excellent! Thanks for a great recipe, Paula!

I made this the other nite and found after cooking it that it really didn't need the extra BBQ sauce it was really good without it.

After letting my pork loin sit overnight in a mason jar marinating I popped it in the oven after I got home from work and within about 30 min my roomies were out of there rooms begging for whatever that intoxicating aroma was, so I invited them to share with me and lets just say there wasn't a morsel left on anyones plate. Bar none this was a hit and i already have requests for another sunday dinner repeat. Ii used a 1.5lb pork tenderloin instead since I didn't ave to feed a ton of people and it was just fine
Thanks,
Satisfied
