I had to work hard to get the batter to a consistency that would work - I had to add about 2 more cups of liquid. I would never try this recipe again.

Hey Mr. Irvine! I really enjoy watching your troubles on your show. It is a great source of comic relief for me. Haha. Well, I was just wondering if the taste or presentation would be different for the Blini with Caviar if you had made a large blini and punched out small ones instead of piping each individual one onto a grittle? I was thinking that it would have saved you an exponential amount of time in the kitchen.
Thank you for putting up with these tight conditions! You have a great show!
