I made this last night hoping that my husband who eats three bananas a day would enjoy it, not a big fan of warm bananas so he didn't care for it that much but did manage to put a few away. I on the other hand don't care for bananas. One time I fainted at work and was told it was due low potassium. The next day my desk was full of bananas in every form even baby food. My co-workers wanted to make sure I ate plenty of them but I still didn't care for them. I could only eat half a banana and now not even that. Yesterday I ate your dessert, which by the way, was so easy to make and I absolutely loved it. I have just found a way to enjoy eating bananas and I owe it all to you. Thank you Paula Deen for this wonderful recipe. I plan to make it at least once a week if not more. I have a little left over and do not plan to share with my husband...

pretty basic, but this dish must include real Vietnamese cinnamon and ice cream. Ben and Jerry's fair trade vanilla is my recommendation. the cinnamon balances the lime. adding some zest on top isn't a bad touch either. also it must be good, real cinnamon be careful of that phony cassia junk that is sold at the grocery store as "cinnamon"

this recipe hit the spot. My husband loves loves bananas
and he requests it often. Best dessert ever says he, after 66 years
of marriage I have found the dessert that hits the top of his list.

Love this with a hint of rum and with vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate fudge. You can also add it on top of old fashioned cider donuts or served with those big pretzels. Delicious!

I am sure it tastes it but this is not a Thai dessert. I am Thai and I've never heard of this dessert before!

I tend to like heavier desserts but this is a good healthier fruit dessert alternative. Easy to make as well. It probably tastes better as a side to a heavier dessert i.e. vanilla ice cream but I can't have dairy right now. So, it's a good dessert for someone not allowed to eat dairy!

I just threw this together and it's so delicious! It would be wonderful over vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt. Just yummy! Thanks Paula!
