The combination of spices that Rachel uses is way way better than the packet of stuff you buy at the store! My kids ate this up!

my kids love this!!! i make it it the crock pot (add about 1/2 a tomato sauce can of water so it doesn't dry out. i grate a big carrot in with it. gives some extra veggies and no one knows the difference. definately sloppy, so i toast the hamburger buns so they don't turn to mush!! a family favorite!

I have never made a sloppy joe from scratch before and this one was easy, me and my wife loved it. I had to sub the hot dogs for chopped ham and put it on regular bread, it was still great!

I thought the combination of hot dogs and sloppy joes sounded weird, but these were so good! My husband absolutely loved them. I have to say though... you HAVE to use lean meat. I didn't, and then I didn't drain it, and it was really runny. I ended up adding a bunch of flour to thicken it up, and it still came out delicious.

These are terrible. Not one person in my family liked them. We all like hot dogs, and we all like sloppy joes, but not these. Don't waste your time and money.

I always used store bought sloppy joe mix and it was ok. Then I seen this on your show and decided to try it and everyone in the house loved it so now this is the kind of sloppy joes they want all the time. I will never again use the store bought stuff. Thanks
