This was a hit with my husband who is not adventurous eater. He loved it. However, I would recommend rolling it very tightly and using toothpicks to help secure them. They tend to fall aprt easily. Practice on one before cooking the entire batch.

I made this for my husband who LOVES gorgonzola. The pinwheels tasted great, but I had a really hard time keeping them together with a single skewer as the cheese melted the pinwheel didn't maintain its structure. Since I was grilling them in two batches, on the second round I stuck them together with toothpicks which helped a lot.

I am always looking for something good to cook on the grill. This was very easy and quick, not a lot of ingredients and smells oh-so-good while cooking. The taste of the olive oil with all the other flavorings, great!!The pinwheels look beautiful plated. I also enjoyed the fact that you can also use chicken breast with this same recipe and grill th same way. Thanks for a great idea.
