    It's was delicious. I substituted dried cranberries for grapes because I made it the night before and didn't want it to get soggy.

    This is probably the best turkey salad I have ever tasted. WONDEFUL! Instead of plain toasted almonds, I chopped smokehouse almonds to impart a slightly smokey flavor, and it was fantastic. This recipe would also work great with candied pecans. A couple of slices of toasted bread, a slice or two of provolone, and some lettuce, and you will have a first-rate sandwich! You could also service this by itself over a couple of slices of romaine and have a great luncheon salad...it's THAT good!

    I made this in college and am a pretty inexperienced cook so it took me a pretty long time to get in a rhythm with all of the chopping of various ingredients. It was well worth the time and effort on my part. I was able to eat sandwiches all week! I used roasted chicken instead of turkey and muenster instead of provolone and it turned out really well. I'll have to have a thicker, fancier bread next time I make it.

    This recipe was the best Turkey salad I've ever eaten. My kids normally don't like anything with too many healty ingredients, but this salad was a big hit with my family. I also tried it with roasted turkey, but i like the smoked turkey best.

    I'm a college student and often get discouraged in the kitchen, ending with me eating cereal or frozen food! However, I decided to go out on a limb with this one and I'm so glad I did. It is a large enough portion that I think I will be able to eat it for a good six sandwiches, which is great for me since I can't cook as often. I wasn't sure how to smoke a turkey breast : - ( so I ended up rubbing it in olive oil and seasoning it with the kosher salt and pepper before putting it in the oven. That worked out great ; Also, I had to substitute provolone for meunster and red grapes for green ones. Both substitutions worked out just fine ; Overall great mix of flavors. However, as in inexperienced chef I'll admit it took me more like 45 minutes to prepare ;
