I served this at a party last night and it was quite a success. I used less papaya however, 3 halves and 2 whole avocados. I used a lot of lime zest and about 1 and a half-2 limes in the dressing. Looked beautiful and tasted delicious.

This had great flavor and was fairly easy to make. The avacados do break down so it doesnt keep more than one day at most. I think this is perfect addition to any dish.

Did not see this on TV but these have to be small avocados (California not Florida and very small papayas. Do not go overboard this probably does not keep very well.

When I saw this recipe on Giada's show, I knew that this would be a great way to fix papaya at home. The dressing combined with the fruit makes a wonderful tangy and sweet summertime side dish.

This salad really wowed me and my family. I didn't think I even liked papaya, but something about this dish intrigued me when I watched Giada make it. It's essential to choose perfectly ripe papayas and avocados. The dressing tastes irresistible with both fruits, and the papayas and avocados taste great in the same mouthful ... Who knew?! What an inspired combination.
