I served this in martini glasses to my guests and blew them away. I put arugula in the bottom of the glass and them filled it with the hot dip and garnished with the roasted tomatoes. Instead of saltines I used flatbread.

Put the dip on toasted artisan bread, top with the roasted tomatoes, and then a slice of swiss - broil for a short period of time. A great meal served with a salad and a glass of riesling.

I saw TF make this on TV and wanted to try it myself. I did make the dip as best as I could considering the guidance provided by recipe and I also did the garlic saltines (easy and fun. I think the dip could have been a bit more flavorful, but my husband and I liked it pretty well along with the saltines.

Why are there no directions with this recipe. It looks delish but hard to understand how it's prepared and put together.

Instead of using pastuerized crab, I picked 3 crabs steamed in Old Bay. I would use slightly less lemon juice. I added some fresh parsley to it and a sprinkling of Old Bay to make it to our taste. Delicious and a hit!

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and season with all the ingredients on top, cook for 15 min at 375*.
For the crackers, in a small saucepan melt the butter, add the minced garlic let the garlic to toast a little bit, and then add the parsley finely chopped and let all melt together. Lay the saltines crackers on a sheet tray and baste them with the garlic butter. Put them in the oven for about 10 min at 375*
    I hope this help.
I know for some of you I?m late, sorry.

I just watched the show and tried to duplicate the crackers and tomatoes as a stand-alone appetizer. The tomatoes were good, but the crackers were bad. They came out nearly burned. I remembered him saying (I thought 375 and I did it for 10 minutes. Terrible, just a step short of burned to a crisp. Someone who has the recipe or recorded the show, please tell me how crackers were done, since other reviewers seemed to love them.
