I made the sauce separately, then pan seared the salmon in coconut oil. To serve, placed the salmon over a mound of rice and drizzled with the sauce. Mmm. It's been placed in my "Tried & True recipes.

This is a fairly simple recipe that is divine! Every time I've made it, it's been a HUGE hit! Highly recommend!

Really terrific and easier than it sounds. The pepper cooks down to add just the right amount of flavor and the sauce was incredibly well balanced. I was lucky to find Apricot Rosemary preserves, which worked perfectly. After baking, I let the dish sit under the broiler for a moment to achieve that golden brown. So yummy and even my picky eaters liked it.

Guy does it again! Amazing! My family absolutely enjoyed this dish. I wasn't sure how this would turn out when I was reducing the sauce - but it was amazing! Great heat with sweet; excellent combination. The plank added a perfect touch and gave it nice indoor BBQ feel for the middle of winter. Can't wait to try this on the grill in Spring.

Recipe was easy to follow and without exception the best salmon dish ever. Fun to execute as well.

I loved this recipe. I was nervous about too much spice, even though I like spicy, but all my guests did not. I added some sugar, apple sauce (tiny bit and used the apple juice instead of white wine. I adored it, the sauce was fantastic and the spice hardly came through. Next time, I will not add the sugar because it didn't really need it.

I cook this on the grill instead of the oven, get a lot more of the cedar flavor by being over a flame. Just make sure you soak the planks for a few hours, keeps the plank from catching on fire (and the steam brings out more of the cedar too!.

The sauce is excellent, rich! Don't let the jalapenos scare you off, I've made this several times and never had anyone mention the heat.

This sauce was great. I substituted the white wine for apple cider and the jalapenos with another pepper. But it was nonetheless the best salmon ever...I want o use the sauce again for something different. what meat would this go with?

I was expecting this to be great, but my wife and I both agreed that the sauce was mediocre and didn't compliment the salmon at all.
