    I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a hit! My husband even loved it, and he was very skeptical! His mom makes a wonderful sweet potato pie, and he did not want anything different. We never had one with meringue on it, and he was not too eager to start. However, even he loved it . . . and went back for another slice! I will definately make it again.

    Did I do something wrong? The liquid from the eggs and milk made the filling like soup. I thought it would setup after baking but it didn't. I followed the receipt to a 't'. Was I supposed to use egg yolk in the fillings? I doubled the ingredients to make 2 pies. I threw them both out. My contribution to family Thanksgiving was frustration.

    I haven't had sweet potato pie this good since grandma's house and everyone in my family loves this recipe. During the holiday's I have to make three to four pie's for everyone to take home. I must say I always have a pie on the side for myself. Paula I simple love this recipe it tastes just simply devine

    I made this pie once for Thanksgiving and it has become my staple. Anytime I ask someone if I can bring something to their party they ask me to make Paula's sweet potato pie! It is so easy to make and so unbelievable delicious!
