I'm a paleo kid so I modified this a bit to make it 'primal'. I used honey in place of brown sugar, walnut oil in place of canola, and coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. I used all the liquid in the marinade, sauteed onions and red peppers in a little walnut oil, then dumped the entire contents of the bag, along with some fresh cilantro, into the pan. When the beef was done I nestled the hot pieces and the peppers into bowls of micro greens then spooned the some of the pan liquid over the greens, topped with sesame and chia seeds, and some more cilantro. It was terrific.

Hands down the best salad I have ever made at home. The flavors in this dish are incredible.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this recipe. I included all the marinade with the meat and made a second batch as dressing for the salad. I marinated the beef for 24 hours, and it was very tender and incredibly flavorful. The dressing pulled everything together and really made the dish pop. Very easy to put together, and it will definitely be in our regular rotation.

Add Mango Chutney Dressing! You can not imagine how good this is. Try this...make a mango chutney dressing with some olive oil and major grays chutney in the food processor. Thats how I make it with this... I first had a similar salad at a favorite restaurant, and thats what the restaurant serve on it. I just use all the marinade here for marinade. This salad will make any hearty eater happy.

This marinade/dressing is delicious! The steak was flavorful and tender after 4 hours in the fridge. Served with green lettuce and skipped the shallots. I did add peanuts for a little crunch.

WOW! Made it tonight for the first time. I swapped out the soy sauce with 1/2 fish sauce and 1/2 liquid aminos and used red onion instead of shallots but otherwise followed it accurately. It was amazing. My 3 children ages 9, 11 and 13 all raved. The salty/sweet/sour combination with the fresh tastes of the greens and herbs against the hearty beef just sang. I can see this being a favorite this summer with steak from the grill. I think it would also work well with chicken or a firm fish like halibut.

Very good! The marinade/dressing is excellent. I used a spring lettuce mix and used more than what is called for. Other than that made as written.

The meat is out of this world delicious! I serve it over jasmine rice and add sliced red peppers, sugar snap peas and matchstick carrots to extra sauce that has been simmered to thicken it a bit and spoon it over the sliced meat... SO AMAZING!!
A huge family favorite! Thanks for a great recipe!

This was very good, very easy & a tasty way to eat more salad. I added tomatoes & red onions to the greens, would have added more veggies if had them on hand.

I didn't have any red curry paste, so I subbed regular curry powder, and wow! What a great dish! The flavors were bright and worked so well together! This is one of my new faves!
