this was the best french toast we have ever had. our son, who NEVER eats anything that we do, tried it and said that it's the "best thing his taste buds have ever tasted". i was so worried that he would't eat it, that we made him some regular french toast just in case. he ate every bite, and loved the crust. it was the perfect mixture of crunch and softness. what a good way to start a Sunday!

I followed your recipe for the Banana stuffed French Toast exactly and it didn't come out quite like yours did when you did it on tv. The kids weren't too keen on the real french bread, too much crust for them and too thick. I sprayed the wire racks quite a bit with cooking spray, but the bread stuck really bad to the wire racks. My idea for next time, put a small layer of banana mixture between 2 slices of regular white bread and fry it in the pan with butter. My kids will enjoy it more and I won't have such a mess.

The two of you are so loving and just role models. I have a 21 year old daughter and I get her to watch the show so she will see how a loving relationship should be. Your food is "da bomb.com" Thanks for bringing us into your home.
