Delicious....I added 2 Serrano chilis, I omitted cumin, oregano and crushed chili and the Parmesan cheese, still spicy and amazing. At the end I chopped fresh cilantro instead of parsley.

So good - didn't change a single thing. I've given the recipe out to my entire department and also friends and family. A keeper for sure.

I love this chili! I have made it at least 10 times over the past few years. I use ground turkey because I'm not a fan of ground chicken and sometimes I use baby spinach if there is no chard at the grocery. I bump up the chili powder and red pepper flake also. If you add the flour, let it cook out for a few minutes, add the stock and scrape the bottom of the Dutch oven often while it simmers, it thikens up beautifully. I love the fact that this has NO tomato in it also.

Delicious! I tweaked it a bit by adding a can of diced tomatoes, half a can of tomato paste, a half can of black beans and a half can of refried black beans (this helped thicken it up. I did add more cumin and cayenne pepper but only because I like things spicy! I would definitely make this again!

Delish! I added a can of diced green chilies and 1/4 tsp cayenne for a little bit more kick. I ommited the swiss chard. Towards the end I mashed some of the beans with the spoon on the bottom of the pan to thicken it up a bit. Served with take and bake French bread, sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese. The perfect dish for this -10 (yes you read that right night? Giada you are always spot on:

Are you kidding? This soup is fabulous, the fennel was a delicious addition! Used a bit more chili powder and used part ancho chili powder, also pureed one of the cans of beans and added a bit of italian sausage. DELISH! Thanks Giada!!
