Garlicy cheesy and delicious! I am only giving four stars because the recipe fails to include directions on what to do with the 2 cloves of chopped garlic. I combined the butter and cheese -freshly grated Vermont sharp white- by hand since I didn't feel like using a food processor. Because I was doing it by hand, I heated the butter for a few seconds in the microwave. I finely chopped the garlic and added it into the mixture, followed by the scallions. Followed the rest of the recipe as is. This is super easy and a real crowd pleaser. My boyfriend absolutely loves it. If its just the two of us for dinner, I will usually save half of the mixture and bread to bake it fresh again the next day.

I can't tell you how good this is. I use individual ciabatta buns. The Ciabatta bread really is key in this recipe because the butter/cheese mixture melts and oozes down into the "craters" on the bread. Oh yeah and try it with roasted garlic too.

Another keeper. Giada always hits the nail on the head! I made this for my family last night and it was gone in no time. I highly suggest using this recipe! Thanks Giada!

The only thing I can add to these reviews is my "YUM". Excellent with any soup or even spaghetti. This is my go to from now on. I may have to run a few extra miles though because I can't resist it. :

Try this!!! Served with chili this evening and big hit! Nice variation on garlic bread. I added an extra garlic clove because we love garlic, and the cheddar is a great addition. Will also try with homemade tomato soup.

So tasty. I've used several different kinds of breads, but this cheese bread has become a household staple for my family.

Excellent! I've been looking for a cheesy bread spread to add into my rotation! This is the perfect recipe and I doubt I will find another that is as tasty! It's easy to make and I have leftovers of the spread that I've stored in the fridge so it will be a snap to prepare next time. Good stuff Giada! Keep 'em coming!

This is hands down THE best cheese bread I have EVER had. I've made this several times for family functions and it goes down a treat, with each function I'm having to make more bread.
This recipe is a keeper!

In one word... AAAHHHHMAZING!! I made this with our white bean and chicken chili. My brother like the spread so much he made me make some for him and he was spreading it on wheat crackers.

I've been making this recipe ever since I saw Giada make it on one of her shows. It has to be the BEST GARLIC BREAD EVER! Whether you use ciabatta, French, Italian or just crusty hoagie rolls, this stuff is great. I always have to make a double recipe 'cause leftovers are a must. I picked up a couple of loaves of ciabatta bread this morning and am planning on having it with lasagna for dinner but, honestly, this makes a good meal just all by itself, LOL. P.S. I can't believe I hadn't posted a review before this.
